Ballerinas celebrate birthday

TWO ballerinas with a passion for dance are preparing for their Bardon Companies fifth birthday this weekend.
Run by Rosetta Cook and Michelle Giammichele, the 2ballerinas school only teaches adults, from absolute beginners to advanced students.

Ms Giammichele said her focus was on creating a welcoming environment for return dancers.
"It is also wonderful to share our love of ballet with people who have always wanted to try ballet, but have never had the opportunity." she said.

The two women told Westside News they had formed a policy of only employing ex-professional ballet dancers, and are now offering 19 different dance classes a week at two separate venues - Bardon and at the Queensland BAllet studios in West End.
