New class additions, the next course dates, costs and upcoming events


Hi Everyone

We would like to announce some new additions to our classes, the next course dates, costs and upcoming events.

New classes
Introduction to Ballet 2
-
Tuesdays 7.15 - 8.15pm - commencing June 26th.
Contemporary Level 1 -
Saturdays 12.30 pm - 1.30 pm commencing June 30th.
 
Courses
Next Intro to Ballet 1 - 10 week courses commencing -
Tuesday July 10 from 6.15 - 7.15pm
Thursday July 12 from 7.15 - 8.15pm
Introduction To Contemporary - 10 week course -
the previous course has proven to be very popular so we are bringing it back - spaces are limited so book soon!
Saturdays from 14th July 1.45 - 2.45 (St Bernards Studio)
Pointe for Beginners
The existing Wednesday Pre Elementary 6 - 7 pm class taken as from 6th June will include pointe work for beginners.
Canyengue Tango workshop -
taken by Rosetta and Nigel Douglas. Sunday 10th June 11 am - 12.30 pm St Bernards Hall. Cost $20.
 
Canyengue Tango is the oldest form of tango from early 1900's. Its a fun dance style that has lots of character, a great way to enjoy tango danced in its easiest form.
Its for anyone with some dance background - no tango experience or partner required. Call Rosetta if you would like more info - 0411887043
Costs
As of 1st July some class costs will be changing -
Introduction 10 week courses will be $140
10 class card $130
Upcoming Events
One of our students from the Masterclass Carolina Casaril has put together a big dance event called Schonell Dance Extravaganza.
Shane Wetherby will be dancing along with some of the Masterclass students.
Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th June at 7pm at The Schonell Theatre.
Adults $28, Concession/Groups $25.

Lake
Amazing contemporary choreographer Lisa Wilson's new work, Lake. 11th - 14th July at Judith Wright Centre.
"Themes of destruction and renewal are explored in a stark and evocative space with dancers working on a stage entirely covered in water."
