Hi Everyone

Due to recent circumstances outlined below regarding a noise complaint we have had to entirely re-work our Christmas event. We are disappointed about this, as you will most likely be as well, but we think that what we have arranged will be a good alternative.

The complaint has come through Brisbane City Council and it is serious in that If we are not compliant we risk closure of our business.

To address this we are working on ways to control the music level emitting from the studios. To keep the the music at an appropriate level we need to keep the roller doors down in Studio 1 for the time being until the matter is resolved.

Due to this noise restriction and the current Covid-Safety requirements of the 2sqm rule inside and considering the estimated numbers of people who would be attending - unfortunately we cannot hold our Christmas Party gathering in the usual way at the normal time, instead we have to spread it out.

CHRISTMAS DANCES NEW PLAN

There will be no general gathering, or party, rather a series of dances at the end of classes where guests can attend.

The classes involved will be still be able to perform their dance in their last class of the year - between Saturday 11th to Friday 17th December. Each student can invite one person to come and watch the dance for the last 10 minutes of class. We will also video each dance and have them available for private viewing with a password provided later just for 2b students on our Vimeo pages.

Michelle and Rosetta will greet the guests coming in and show them to the studio. Just in case social distancing isn’t possible we ask that the audience bring a mask and wear them if they feel it necessary.

HOLIDAY CLASSES AND DATES FOR 2022

The last classes for this year will be on Friday 17th December.
We will be returning from Tuesday January 4th. There will be some classes starting further into January and we will be announcing the timetable for 2022 very soon in the next Newsletter.
