Our first newsletter for 2026 and it’s great to be back in what is our 19th year! We hope you all had a great Christmas and we wish you all a happy new year. Just a few announcements to get the year going.

NEW CLASSES 2026

1. Gentle Jazz Mondays at 10.30am with Tori Windsor
2. Jazz Technique Level 2 Wednesdays 7.15pm with Maureen Bowra   
3. Latin Fitness suitable for all levels 9.30am with Marnie Vuksan

CLASS UPDATE

We would like to remind people about this creative class where dances are choreographed especially for the students. Many people complimented the lovely dance Kathleen choreographed for last year's Christmas Showcase saying they would love to go to this class but but don't do pointe. We want to assure you that you don't need to be doing pointe to go, ballet flats are fine too.

INTRODUCTION COURSES

The Introduction to Ballet and Tap courses start this week and the Introduction to Contemporary course starts the following week.
The Tuesday 6.15pm course is full but there is room in all the other courses if anyone is thinking of enrolling. 

MESSA DA REQUIEM GROUP BOOKING

We are arranging a group booking to see a performance of Messa da Requiem, a Queensland Ballet and Qld Symphony Orchestra production.

This piece has had fantastic reviews when it was performed at The Adelaide Festival in 2023. It is choreographed by Christian Spuck a renowned German choreographer and director, currently the Artistic Director of Staatsballett Berlin.
