Learn Tango at 2ballerinas

Argentinean Tango is a social partner dance that can be enjoyed by anyone of any age or dance experience. It is different to ballroom tango and various cliche tango performances that can be seen in some movies and popular culture. 

The main difference is that Argentinean Tango is based on a unique improvisation technique, which is what makes it so enjoyable and fun to dance. 

1.30 – 2.30pm Intermediate Tango a drop in class for those with prior tango experience. Pay casually for $16 or purchase a class card.

2.30 – 3.30pm Introduction to Tango 5 week Course.  Suitable for complete beginners or as a refresher.  We will aim to keep partner numbers equal (leader and follower roles) so everyone has a partner to dance with. We rotate partners but if you are coming in a couple and wish to dance together that is fine too. 

Cost $75. This includes an optional half hour practise session following the class.

Wear casual clothing that is easy to move in. Street or dance wear is fine.

Women’s shoes:  Leather soles that you can pivot in with a heel height that is comfortable.
