Some important news –
Christmas Party Dances Coming Up!
We are starting to get ready for our Christmas party and beginning the choreography for the group dances for the classes. These small pieces will made for all classes except the Introduction Courses and the Open Level classes.
A bit of background info for those who are new to 2ballerinas this year – The Christmas party is a casual get together of the whole school where you can perform in your group class piece if you want to. There is no pressure at all to do this – just learn the dance anyway as a part of your class exercises.
This year the Party is on Saturday 14th December at 4pm.
Class Updates – Guest Teacher for Sunday classes
We are excited to announce a special guest teacher, Rhiannon McLean, an amazing dancer from Expressions Dance Company and a lovely ballet teacher, for our Sunday Open level Ballet 10.30 – 11.45 from this coming Sunday October 6 until October 27th.

Grant will still be teaching the new Open Level class on Tuesdays at 7.15.
Numbers are small in this class and we really hope we can keep this class running – come and try it! Open level suits Level 2 and up.
RetroMoves – Special Offer
We would love to see more people come and have a go at our jazz class Retromoves, now on Sundays at 11.45 – 12.45.
So for the month of October we would like to make these three special offers –
- two Retromove classes for the price of one
- come and try the class for $8
- or bring a friend for free
Introduction Courses starting soon!
If anyone wants to do a refresher course we have lots of room in all the courses in ballet and contemporary starting on Oct 8th. Or if you know anyone that has been thinking about starting ballet with 2ballerinas please let them know.
The Australian Ballet – Manon
We have got in early for a group booking to see this absolutely stunning full length work Manon choreographed by Sir Kenneth Mac Millan. Manon is considered to be one of the great story ballets. The tickets are for March 1st at the Lyric Theatre. We have 20 tickets arranged so email us to let us know if you would like to join us. They are $95 each. Could be good Christmas present?
