We are excited to announce a special workshop coming up on Sunday April 19th:
Fitball for Ballet – Introduction Workshop with Sarah Rowles
The workshop is based on Marie Walton-Mahon’s Progressing Ballet Technique, and has been adapted by Sarah especially for adults. The first hour will be fit ball exercises, followed by a one hour ballet class suitable for all levels of experience, so that you can feel the muscles you will have activated. These exercises are specifically geared towards improving your dance technique, control and awareness of turnout, proper use of feet etc.

Wear clothing that leaves your calves and feet bare and bring your ballet shoes.
You will need to bring a fitball. There are various sizes depending on your height, ideally you should be able to sit on the ball with your thighs horizontal to the floor.
