Originally from Melbourne, Laura is a passionate dance teacher and along with her experience, you’ll discover her dynamic choreography and engaging and inclusive classes are a proven hit.
After gaining a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Dance and Drama she went on to study a Master of Teaching (Dance/Drama/Primary/Secondary). By day, Laura teaches at primary schools and by night she teaches incredible dance classes! Previously, she has held roles as Performing Arts Coordinator at numerous Melbourne Primary Schools. Laura is also a member of the AusDance Victoria Education Advisory Committee.
For over 12 years, Laura has taught almost every style, level and age at dance schools across Melbourne. She has also produced, directed and choreographed various musicals for children and teenagers. She is a qualified Southern Federation of Dance Teacher and has also choreographed and refined VCE VET Solos, some of which have been performed at ‘Top Class’.
During 2020 she started an Online Tap Dance Program in Melbourne for adults which included the fabulous ‘Wine On Tap’ series – enjoying Tap with choreography, trivia and wine.
A seasoned performer herself, Laura has been dancing since the age of 3 and has training in Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop and Ballet. She has completed Southern Federation of Dance Exams in Tap and Jazz with exceptional results and has been a member of winning competition troupes for jazz, contemporary and tap. Laura has also performed at various events and festivals and performed in dance, theatre and musical productions to rave reviews.
